SSS honoured Major General Indrabalan for his heroic and effective rescue operations during the Wayanad floods.

SSS celebrated Raksha Bandhan on a grand scale in Palakkad by visiting the District Collector, DRM, NCC offices, and other departments to spread the message of protecting women, in accord with Sanatana Dharma.

The respected National President of Youth for Nation, Lt. Gen. V.K. Chaturvedi, addressed a large gathering of youth, veterans, and SSS members in Palakkad to emphasise Sanatana Dharma and the spirit of “Nation First.”

SSS co-organised Kargil Day celebrations at Fort Maidan with veterans and their families. School students and NCC cadets also participated, with the support of the Chairperson and officials of the Palakkad Municipality.

The brochure was created to publicise Sanathana Seva Society’s mission, its beliefs, and its accomplishments to those who are interested. It aims to inform people about the vision of SSS and its prospective activities. It is a tool to reach out to potential donors and raise money for the future social activities of SSS, its spiritual engagements and humanitarian services.  

The Mathrubhojanam service is being launched, adhering to SSS values, delivering quality, homely meals to many residents, especially senior citizens

SSS extended its support by closely associating with the Municipality of Palakkad in rescue operations and humanitarian services during the Wayanad landslide episode.

A formal request was submitted to the Honourable Railway Minister for a Vande Bharat train service from Kasi Vishwanath to Swamy Padmanabha (Varanasi to Trivandrum). A copy was also submitted to the Honourable Prime Minister.

SSS submitted a memorandum to the Honourable Union Health Minister for the establishment of AIIMS at Kanjikode, where land could be acquired without the hassles of land acquisition. The Minister responded positively that if there is no necessity for land acquisition, he would take up the matter during the Union Cabinet. SSS pursued the matter with the present BJP President, Rajiv Chandrasekharan and the Cabinet Minister for Heavy Industries.  As per media sources, this proposal is gaining the interest of the bureaucracy and is under active consideration.

SSS, in collaboration with other apolitical organisations, advocated for a train halt at Madukkarai Railway Station to benefit defence personnel, veterans, and the local population. After meetings with the DRM and GM of Southern Railway, this proposal has been approved and is ready for implementation.
