SSS extended its support by closely associating with the Municipality of Palakkad in rescue operations and humanitarian services during the Wayanad landslide episode.
Memorandum for Vande Bharat Train
A formal request was submitted to the Honourable Railway Minister for a Vande Bharat train service from Kasi Vishwanath to Swamy Padmanabha (Varanasi to Trivandrum). A copy was also submitted to the Honourable Prime Minister.
AIIMS Proposal at Kanjikode
SSS submitted a memorandum to the Honourable Union Health Minister for the establishment of AIIMS at Kanjikode, where land could be acquired without the hassles of land acquisition. The Minister responded positively that if there is no necessity for land acquisition, he would take up the matter during the Union Cabinet. SSS pursued the matter with the present BJP President, Rajiv Chandrasekharan and the Cabinet Minister for Heavy Industries. As per media sources, this proposal is gaining the interest of the bureaucracy and is under active consideration.
Stoppage of Express Train at Madukkarai
SSS, in collaboration with other apolitical organisations, advocated for a train halt at Madukkarai Railway Station to benefit defence personnel, veterans, and the local population. After meetings with the DRM and GM of Southern Railway, this proposal has been approved and is ready for implementation.
Inauguration of War Memorial in Palakkad
SSS pursued the establishment of a War Memorial at a very prime location in Palakkad. The Chairperson of Palakkad, Pramila Sasidharan, took special interest, and the War Memorial was officially inaugurated on Republic Day 2025.
Integration with Smart City Project
A memorandum was submitted to the Union Heavy Industries Minister to include AIIMS in the ₹38,00 crore Smart City Project at Kanjikode, announced by the Honourable Prime Minister.
